Kintersorn
Today is August 15, which means we left America six months ago. At this point, it looks like we’ve got about another two or [barely] three more to go.

Everybody knows what kintersorn means.
It’s a word that marks the passage of six months time with the additional nuance of a feeling on behalf of the person who uses the word that the seasons are about to change, especially if the upcoming season is autumn and the person who uses the word is quite tired of summer.

I couldn\’t find the word on dictionary.com, and the only place I found it on google was a link back to your page. Which wasn\’t very helpful. What language is it?

I think he made it up
It’s weird to think you’ll be back in America soon. Probably weirder for you though, since you are the ones going. Let us know when you decide what to do with your lives afterwards - we are anxious to know. I suppose you could describe the feeling as “temprakon”. You know, the feeling that you are anxious to know what your friends are going to do with the rest of their lives after having gone on a trip around the world for a number of months.
What? You mean you’ve never heard of that word?

You’re right Adam - we feel very temprakon now and we will let you know. And I may have made up a new word somewhere in this conversation.
