i’m sure it feels totally surreal–like perhaps it was all a dream.
i’m glad you went, though, even if it was so the rest of the world could vicariously experience some of the same things you were going through.

Wow! And exactly one year later I too head out on an extended journey — first to Europe, then Asia…heading in the opposite direction of the route you traveled. Ray, I’ve followed your blog for awhile now and really like what you share. I just wanted to say hello before heading out!
